Had a great experience at Surya Restaurant! I tried the Duck Roast and Chilly Beef, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The duck was tender and packed with rich, authentic Kerala flavors. The chilly beef was perfectly cooked—juicy, well-balanced in spice, and full of taste. Portions were generous, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. A special mention to our waiter, who was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. His friendly service really added to the overall experience. If you’re looking for quality dishes and great service, Surya is definitely worth a visit!

Unlike many restaurants where finding parking is a hassle, Surya offers ample and well-managed parking, which is a real convenience for visitors. However, the only drawback is the bathroom location – it’s available only on the third floor, which is quite inconvenient, especially for senior citizens and children. This is a major design flaw in an otherwise well-thought-out place.Overall, Surya Restaurant impresses with its food, ambience, and service. With more accessible restroom facilities, it would easily be one of the best dining spots in the area.

Had a nice experience. Food tastes subtle and good. Tasted squid roast and curry. Parathas were soft. Ghee rice was less in quantity but worth for ₹110. Has good parking space . Has parking space on the other side of the road too. Kind staff over there.

I’ve been to Surya Restaurant in Aluva three times, and every visit was for the same dish—my all-time favorite, Butter Chicken with Kal Appam. They serve a decent Butter Chicken with perfectly hot Kal Appam, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. I also tried their Beef Kondattam, but it felt quite average compared to my expectations. While the food quality remains consistent, I did notice a drop in customer service during my recent visit. Previously, the waiters were engaging and interactive, but this time, that warmth was missing. Overall, Surya Restaurant is a decent dine-in spot, especially if you're craving Butter Chicken and Kal Appam.
